Growing up around cars, then owning them, working on them, and driving them, Ryan built a deep understanding of what they are - and what they mean to people.

After restoring and reviving over ten of his own vehicles, one thing became clear:

Not every car needs a full rebuild.

Some just need the years stripped back properly.

Dry ice cleaning offered a better way.

A way to clean deep into engine bays, underbodies, and hard-to-reach areas without pulling everything apart or risking damage to original parts.

So he tested it the only way that mattered: on his own cars first.

Only once it proved itself did Submate open its doors.
